Community Knowledge Enrichment Initiative with a lecture on Du’a’ Kumayl at IILM every Thursday night

IILM Center would like to announce that its new Community Knowledge Enrichment Initiative with a lecture on Du’a’ Kumayl of Amir al-Muminin ‘Ali Ibn Abi Talib (‘alayhis-salam). The lecture on Du’a’ Kumayl is the first in a series of weekly lectures, held every Thursday Night (Laylat al-Jumu’a / Shab-e jum’a), devoted to the spiritual message of  Du’a’ Kumayl. This will be followed by the recitation of Du’a’ Kumayl. All lectures will be delivered in the English language by Dr Saiyad Nizamuddin Ahmad.
Dr Ahmad received his MA and PhD in Islamic Studies from Princeton University. He also holds an MA in Arabic from Indiana University and a BSc in Pure Mathematics from Purdue University. He has taught at the University of Texas at Austin, the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization in Kuala Lumpur, the American University of Sharjah, and the American University in Cairo. He is currently Reader in Shi’ah Studies at The Shi’ah Institute, London.
