The Crescent Moon of the Month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1439 A.H.
The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Monday, August 13th 2018, will be the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1439 A.H. for the entire region of North America.
Therefore,
- The day of Arafah will be on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018
- The day of Eid al-Adha will be on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018
