Announcement Concerning:
The Crescent Moon of the Month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1438 A.H.
The Moon-Sighting Committee announces that Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017 will be the first day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1438 A.H. for the United States and southern parts of Canada.
Therefore,
The day of Arafah will be on Thursday, August 31st, 2017
The day of Eid al-Adha will be on Friday, September 1st, 2017
