The Crescent Moon of the Month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1444 A.H.
The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that sighting of the crescent moon was confirmed by the naked eye in Phoenix, Arizona and San Diego, California at sunset on Sunday, June 18th, 2023.
Therefore, the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1444 A.H. will be on Monday, June 19th, 2023.
